LOCTITE HY 4070 Structural Adhesive

LOCTITE HY 4070 is a transparent, milky-colored, colorless or light yellow cyanoacrylate/acrylic hybrid gel adhesive, suitable for quick repairs at room temperature in gaps up to 5 mm.

LOCTITE® HY 4070 is a two-component, transparent, milky-colored cyanoacrylate/acrylic hybrid gel adhesive designed for quick repairs at room temperature in gaps up to 5 mm. It works well on a variety of substrates, including most plastics, rubber, and metals. It is ideal for applications where excess adhesive must fully cure, and the bond must resist temperature and moisture effects. The best results are achieved with the LOCTITE® 10 ml hybrid and cyanoacrylate mixing nozzle (suitable for HY 4070 and 3090).

Instructions for use:

1. Thoroughly clean and degrease the surfaces to be bonded.
2. Insert the plunger into the product and remove the cap.
3. Attach the mixing nozzle to the product and apply the adhesive to the desired area.
4. Do not use the first 1-2 cm of adhesive, then align the surfaces and press them together for a few minutes.
5. After use, remove the mixing nozzle and replace the cap.

The product bonds metal, rubber, porous materials (leather, wood, paper, fabric), and plastics (PVC, ABS, PC). Not suitable for bonding PTFE, PE, or PP surfaces.
