LOCTITE® 222 is a low-strength threadlocker, recommended for setting and securing screws, and for low-strength fastening of countersunk screws. It is also ideal for low-strength metals, such as aluminum and brass, which may be damaged or broken during disassembly. The product bonds to all surfaces, including passive ones like stainless steel, aluminum, and coated surfaces. It has been proven to work on surfaces lightly contaminated with industrial oils, such as motor oil, corrosion-resistant oils, and cutting fluids.
