General Terms and Conditions

These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter: GTC) regulate the rights and obligations of Ívpont 2002 Kft. (hereinafter: Service Provider or Company) and the Customer (hereinafter: Customer or User) who uses the electronic commercial services provided by Ívpont 2002 Kft.

The Customer can be:

  • Private individuals (consumers): A natural person acting outside their profession, independent occupation, or business activities.
  • Companies, sole traders, public institutions, etc.: Non-natural persons acting within their profession, independent occupation, or business activities.

1. Scope of the GTC:

The scope of these GTC extends to all electronic commercial services provided in Hungary through the www.ivpont2002.com website (hereinafter: online store, website, or site). The contract between the parties is concluded in Hungarian.

The online store is freely accessible. You, as the Customer, are entitled to use the services of the online store if you accept the terms outlined in these GTC. The GTC can be printed by clicking the printer icon at the top of this page.

2. Inventory Information:

Not all products listed in our online store are kept in stock, so it may happen that the selected product is not immediately available. In such cases, the delivery time will be subject to separate agreement.

3. Purchase Process:

You can add products to your cart by clicking the "Add to Cart" button. You can view the selected products, their prices, and values in the "Cart" module.

To modify the quantity, rewrite it and click the "Update Quantity" button, or you can delete items.

4. New Customer:

The Customer can use the online store either without registration or as a registered customer.

After providing your data, you can place an order for the selected product(s). (Data can be modified until the last step, before sending the order.)

Make sure to check your data!

Choose your payment method.

In the "Optional comments for the order" section, you can share additional requests or shipping preferences.

Then, all that remains is to submit the order. After clicking the "Submit Order" button, the Customer will receive an automatic email confirming the order, which contains a summary of the order and information that "This is an automatic message indicating that your order has been received in our system and does not constitute acceptance of the offer." The email will also include shipping terms and the GTC as a PDF attachment.

By submitting the order, the Customer declares that they accept these General Terms and Conditions and the Shipping Terms and acknowledges them as binding.

5. Confirmation / Delivery Time:

The automatic message (confirmation) includes the order number for future reference.

After the Service Provider reviews and processes the order, the service representative will contact the Customer if there are any questions or to confirm the expected delivery time. Delivery will take place according to the Shipping Terms. The products are usually shipped within 72 hours. For in-stock items, delivery typically occurs within 24–48 hours. However, delivery may take longer due to technical reasons or if coordinated with the Customer.

6. Billing and Payment Methods:

  • Cash (at the Service Provider's premises).
  • Cash on Delivery (when shipping via delivery/postal service).
  • Bank Transfer (only by prior agreement).
  • Prepayment (via bank transfer before shipping. The product will only be shipped after payment is received).

7. Right of Withdrawal within 14 Days:

As a consumer (private individual), the Customer has the right to withdraw from the purchase of the product without justification within 14 days. The withdrawal can be communicated via email, phone, mail, or in person. The Customer must return the product within 14 days of withdrawal. If the Customer used a more expensive delivery method than the standard, the additional shipping cost will not be reimbursed.

8. Limitation of Liability:

The Customer acknowledges the limitations of the Internet and the risks involved in browsing and purchasing. The Service Provider is not liable for damages resulting from events beyond its control (force majeure), including wars, strikes, natural disasters, system failures, and others.

The Customer accepts the risk of browsing and purchasing and acknowledges that in case of significant price errors due to technical reasons, the Service Provider is not obliged to deliver at the incorrect price.

9. Information / Complaint Handling:

The Customer may file a complaint if they encounter issues during the purchase process. Complaints can be made in writing or in person using the Service Provider's contact details.

If the complaint is rejected by the Service Provider, the Customer may contact the local government office as a consumer protection authority.
